My personal journey of health & wellness is a life-long story.
I’ve always struggled with my own weight since early childhood.
From a chunky kid, to an Anorexic Gymnast, to a Morbidly Obese young adult…I have been through it all!
As a teenager, I spent over a decade using starvation & extreme calorie deficit to control my weight. But at around age 24, I began to eat food...what I thought was just "normal" eating...and really, it was, normal for most.
It really was not an excessive amount of food. But it definitely was the WRONG food… And my poor starving body was not used to any type of food intake, especially unhealthy proccessed food. And so it responded in an extremely negative way.
And the pounds piled on quickly!! This weight gain cycle began...and I just kept growing! And I it would not stop!
In only 2 or 3 years, suddenly, my tiny body had become someone I didn't recognize at all!!
By age 36, I weighed-in at an enormous 324 pounds. I was incredibly ill & suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes, malaise, depression, and felt like a prisoner in my own body.
I was sooo miserable!!!

And just like that…my journey began. And what a ride it has been!! My soul was IGNITED with PASSION & PURPOSE and I thirsted for knowledge, and then more knowledge…So, back to school I went!
This time FOR ME and MY mission!
I studied, I researched, I learned, I educated myself for SUCCESS!!
I got myself back in the gym....and I WORKED!
And
And just like that…my journey began. And what a ride it has been!! My soul was IGNITED with PASSION & PURPOSE and I thirsted for knowledge, and then more knowledge…So, back to school I went!

And every day I still continue to work, grow, and to improve.
It’s been 19 amazing years of total commitment & trust in the process, and here we are today.
I’m now 55 years old and have lost over 200 pounds and kept it off for OVER 19 years.
I created a plan, an eating plan, not a diet. Diets are temporary. A healthy lifestyle is forever.
I’m a Researcher of food, I’m a Fitness Enthusiast. From the gym to the kitchen, it's all about a healthy LIFESTYLE. "I AM" all about Believing & Achieving.
And now, I truly BELIEVE it's my turn to help you succeed on your most amazing journey ever...The journey of "The New YOU".
